What is Library of Tasks?
The Library of Tasks is a centralized repository developed by the TTF-DDG (Transversal Tasks Force – Digital Data Generation) for the Swiss National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) Evolving Language. This platform enables researchers across different work packages to:
- Share experimental tasks and paradigms
- Reuse validated tasks across studies
- Customize existing tasks for specific research needs
- Discover tasks by domain, language, platform, or format
The library is currently in Phase 2 – ready for use with a growing collection of tasks. We actively welcome contributions of new tasks to expand the platform’s utility for the NCCR community.
What for?
The platform supports multiple types of task integration:
- Web-based tasks: Static websites that can be directly integrated and run through iframes
- PsychoPy tasks: Python-based experiments that the TTF-DDG can convert to PsychoJS for web integration
- Custom implementations: Contact the TTF-DDG team for assistance with implementation
How to contribute?
To contribute a new task to the library:
- Web-based tasks: Submit your static website directly
- PsychoPy tasks: Send your .py files to the TTF-DDG for PsychoJS conversion
- Custom implementations: Use the contact form or reach out directly
