Open Data in VoCallBase includes a comprehensive collection of vocalization data from published research studies and well-known structured sources like Xeno-Canto and the Animal Sound Archive. These datasets are carefully curated from peer-reviewed journals and other reputable sources to ensure data reliability and consistency.
Note: The use of Open Data must comply with the licensing terms specified in the original dataset’s published record, as well as the VoCallBase Contribution/User Agreement.
Embargoed Data includes unpublished datasets from ongoing research projects. These datasets offer researchers a unique opportunity to glimpse the latest findings in animal communication research while they undergo an embargo period.
Note: Access to Embargoed Data is restricted to VoCallBase Collaborators and is granted only after the completion of the VoCallBase Collaboration/User Agreement. Usage of this data must comply with the licensing terms set by the data owners and the VoCallBase User Agreement.
Collaborative Research Data includes datasets contributed by research collaborators to the VoCallBase. These datasets are shared to support ongoing research initiatives and foster collaborative efforts in the study of animal communication.
