We stand in solidarity

In disbelief, disdain, and with a heavy heart we have been witnessing Russia’s invasion of Ukraine since last Thursday. Countless people are suffering because of this unprovoked war, and we are heartened only by the fact that numerous Russian voices have joined the world in condemning Russia’s actions.

We are aware that several of our NCCR members too have family members in Ukraine or are in other ways personally connected to the country. To these colleagues we say that we stand with you and we care about you. Please feel free to reach out to us if we can provide any help from our side. 

A general appeal to all our NCCR members: please look around – there might be people in our midst who are in need of support of any kind. Please check on them and see if they are alright. We stand together in unity against aggression and violence, and in favour of peace, respect and our common humanity.
