A successful writing retreat in Puidoux for our NCCR members!
From March 27th to 30th 2023, 8 PhD candidates and Post-docs participated in the NCCR writing retreat surrounded by peaceful mountains, at Crêt-Berard in Puidoux (VD). Prof. Hervé Bourlard from Idiap kindly offered his help through writing workshops.
This time away from the frenetic lab daily life allowed participants to focus on their writing and showed great results! “I nearly finished my whole paper, and I really could concentrate and write,” shared a participant.
It was also the occasion for participants to share experiences and knowledge with fellow NCCR researchers.
Overall, participants were happy about the retreat and found it helpful. “I think this was a successful retreat and I would happily participate again or recommend participation to others,” concluded a participant.
